Demand Survey of the PMAY: More than 50,000 applications received

Chandigarh, 29 th March, 2017: More than 12000 application forms have been received physically at the office of Chandigarh Housing Board, more than 37000 received online on the PMAY-MIS portal and more than 1500 through e-Sampark centres under the Pradhan Mantri AwasYojna Scheme. This is for the information of the General Public that blank forms under Pradhan MantriAwasYojna (data base survey)-Housing for All (Urban) will be provided by all Sampark Centre@ Rs. 10/- per form.  Filled forms of General Public will also be received by all Sampark Centrestill closing date i.e. 20.04.2017. All those who desire to apply are requested to collect the blank forms from any of the 42 Sampark Centres and submit the filled forms at the Sampark Centres or at CHB office in Sector 9, Chandigarh.

Media Collaboration Meet on Routine Immunization programme

Inauguration of Architect Pierre Jeanneret Museum

Chandigarh, March 22 nd , 2017: On the 121 st Birth Anniversary of Architect Le Corbusier’s cousin, Pierre Jeanneret, H.E Sh. V.P Singh Badnore, Governor Punjab and Administrator, U.T Chandigarh inaugurated the Pierre Jeanneret museum today along with Sh. Parimal Rai, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, Sh. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Chandigarh, 22 nd March, 2017: CHB is planning affordable housing for middle income group residents of the Urban Areas of Chandigarh under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Housing for All (Urban) Schemes under the component of Credit linked subsidy scheme.  Under the MIG-I scheme, beneficiaries living in Urban area of Chandigarh are eligible for an interest subsidy of 4% on a loan upto Rs. 9 lacs for new construction/addition of rooms, kitchen, toilet etc. to existing dwelling units provided that the carpet area of houses being constructed or enhanced under this component of the mission should be 61- 90 square meters . Under the MIG-II scheme, beneficiaries living in Urban area of Chandigarh are eligible for an interest subsidy of 3% on a loan of Rs. 12 lacs for new construction/addition of rooms, kitchen, toilet etc. to existing dwelling units provided that the carpet area of houses being constructed or enhanced under this component of the mission should be between 91- 11...

CHB Conducts Demand Survey for Credit Linked Subsidy

Chandigarh, 21 st March, 2017: Hon’ble Prime Minister has envisioned ‘Housing for ALL’ by 2022 when the Nation completes 75 years of its independence. In this direction Govt. of India has launched Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana -Housing for All (Urban) Scheme.  Chandigarh Housing Board is carrying out the demand survey from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) households and Lower Income Groups (LIG) living in urban areas of Chandigarh for credit linked subsidy and affordable flats in Chandigarh from 20.3.2017 to 20.04.2017. Under the Credit linked subsidy, beneficiaries living in Urban area of Chandigarh are eligible for an interest subsidy @ 6.5% on Rs. 6 lacs for new construction/addition of rooms, kitchen, toilet etc. to existing dwelling units provided that the carpet area of houses being constructed or enhanced under this component of the mission should be upto 30 square meters and 60 square meters for EWS and LIG respectively and construction/enhancement is as per byela...
