Chandigarh, 16 th  June, 2018: Special Meeting of the elected members of the Market Committee, Chandigarh was convened in the office of the Market Committee, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 14.06.2018 at 11:00 am. All the nine members were present. Attendance was recorded and the members were asked to propose names for the office of the Vice-Chairman. Name of Sh. Sunil Gupta was proposed by Sh. Rambir Bhatti and seconded by Sh. Gurpreet Singh and Name of Sh. Sukhwinder Singh was proposed by Subhash Chander and seconded by Sh. Devinder Singh Babla. Ballot papers for the Vice-Chairman were prepared in the prescribed form ‘C’ and nine copies of the ballot papers were prepared under my signature.   Voting for the Vice-Chairman was conducted by Secret Vote. Chandigarh, 7 th  June 2018:  A review meeting of the  grievances received during the Open House was held today under the chairmanship of Sh. VP Singh Badnore, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, U.T, Chandigarh. Sh. Parimal Rai, Adviser to the Administrator, Sh. A K Gupta, Home Secretary, Sh. J.M Balamurugan, Secretary to Governor of Punjab, Sh. A K Sinha, Finance Secretary, Sh. Ajit Balaji Joshi, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. K K Yadav, Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Sh. Tajender Singh Luthra, DGP Chandigarh, Sh. Eish Singhal, SP, UT, Chandigarh and all the Head of the Departments were also present during the meeting. The review meeting was held to check the status of  the  grievances received during the Open House held on 22 nd  May 2018. Chandigarh, 7 th June, 2018: A Regional Review Meeting of Malaria and other vector Borne diseases is being organised in Chandigarh with participation of programme officers from 15 states/UTs, representatives of various civic bodies and Associations like IMA etc. The meeting is organised by National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), Govt of India with World Health Organization. The meeting was inaugurated on 6 th June 2018 by Dr. P. K. Sen, Director- NVBDCP, in presence of senior officials of Department of Health of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. Dr. Nicole Seaguy, Team Lead-Communicable disease and Dr. Roop Kumari, National Professional Officer of WHO India Office were also present. Dr. G.
