Chandigarh, 6 th December 2017: This is for the information of General Public and Political Parties that the Election Commission of India, New Delhi has decided that the period for filling claims and objections in the State should be further extended upto 15 th December, 2017, so that the Booth Level Officers can complete ongoing house to house verification in their respective polling station areas. BLOs will visit your house from upto 15 th December, 2017 to collect the information and enroll the left out electors. Residents of Chandigarh are requested to give co-operation to the BLOs as and when they visit their house. 

Chandigarh, 4 th December 2017: It is for the information to the general public/residents of Chandigarh that the registration for participating in e-auction of vehicle registration numbers of new series " CH01-BQ " for special/choice registration numbers 0001 to 9999 will start from 13.12.2017 (10:00 AM) and will continue till 19.12.2017 (05:00 PM) and the e-auction will start on 20.12.2017 (10:00 AM) and will continue till 22.12.2017 (05:00PM). The owner of the vehicle can register himself/herself on the National Transport website: https://parivahan.gov.in/fancy and the link of the same is available on the Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website: www.chdtransport.gov.in and obtain the Unique Acknowledgement Number (UAN). The owner of the vehicle who has purchased the vehicle at Chandigarh address only will be allowed to participate in e-auction.
