Education Secretary Inaugurates Exhibition-cum-Sale

Chandigarh, 24 th May 2018: Education Department Chandigarh Administration has organized an Exhibition-cum-Sale of Children, Teenagers, Ladies Garments and Hand Painted, Block & Screen Printed Linen, Dupattas and other items prepared by 10+2 Fashion Designing & Clothing Construction and Textile Designing & Printing Vocational Course students at Kisan Bhawan,   Sector-35, Chandigarh for two days i.e. 24 th   May and 25 th   May, 2018 . The inauguration of the Exhibition-cum-sale was done by Sh. B.L Sharma, IAS, Education Secretary, U.T., Chandigarh today. Chandigarh Administration Creates Chandigarh Innovation Living Lab” (CHILL)

Chandigarh 24 th May 2018: To address the multi-faceted issues of Government Departments, Technical and other Academic Institutes, Industries and citizens, Chandigarh Administration has created a platform “Chandigarh Innovation Living Lab” (CHILL). Here Government Departments, Technical and other Academic Institutes, and Industries will work together and promote innovative solutions to the problems faced by citizens and administrative departments. This will not only reduce the cost and time lapse for seeking out solutions but will also increase the efficiency of implementation of smaller to medium scale problems faced by the administrative departments. Administrator UT, Chandigarh holds the first Open House for Redressal of Public Grievances

Chandigarh, 22 nd  May 2018 : Towards bringing greater transparency and efficiency in governance, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shri V.P. Singh Badnore launched the Punjab Raj Bhavan website and held the first Open House with citizens of Chandigarh. The Punjab Raj Bhavan website grievance portal is a 24x7 online access for citizens to submit their grievances. During today’s Open House session held in UT Secretariat, Chandigarh, the Administrator heard the grievances of p eople from different strata of the society  like individuals from fields of education, health, representatives of welfare associations, freedom fighters and villagers of periphery of Chandigarh. Associations like Sector Welfare Association, Chandigarh Traders Association, and Resident Welfare Association raised varied issues which required immediate attention of the administrative officers. RAJ BHAVAN WEBSITE LAUNCHED

CHANDIGARH, 22 May, 2018:  The Governor, Punjab and Administrator U.T., Chandigarh Shri V.P. Singh Badnore today launched the Punjab Raj Bhavan website which can be accessed at  www.punjabrajbhawan.gov.in   . Formally launching the website, the Governor said this website will provide online access to information related to the activities of Punjab Raj Bhavan and ensure transparency and efficiency in addressing citizen grievance matters. A significant feature of the website is the online grievance redressal portal through which citizens of both Punjab and U.T. Chandigarh can submit their grievance online. Such online grievances will be taken by the State Punjab Government agencies and U.T. administration respectively for redressal and the status of addressal can be ascertained by citizens themselves and also monitored centrally.
