Resume the functioning of Registering & Licensing Authority U.T., Chandigarh for public dealing w.e.f. 01.06.2021

Chandigarh.27th May,2021:Consequent upon increasing number of cases of COVID-19 in Union Territory a lockdown has been imposed by the Chandigarh Administration in entire Union Territory. Being highly public dealing department, the office of Registering & Licensing Authority, U.T., Chandigarh had also been closed by the Chandigarh Administration in order to contain the spread of COVID-19. Now, in view of decreasing number of cases, it has been decided to resume the functioning of Registering & Licensing Authority U.T., Chandigarh for public dealing w.e.f. 01.06.2021 with limited services only on the basis of fresh online appointments. Chandigarh.24th May,2021: The Chandigarh Administration in association with the Indian Red Cross Society. U.T. Branch, Chandigarh has started *OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR BANK FOR COVID PATIENTS* who need Oxygen when in home isolation or after discharge from hospital. The patients requiring concentrator may contact at the following helpline number:- Helpline No.- +91-6280726662 Timings - 9.00 am to 5.00pm The applicant is required to submit following documents:- *COVID Positive Report of patient. *Doctor’s Prescription for oxygen requirement. *Any Residential Proof of U.T. Chandigarh. After confirming the eligibility, the applicant will be informed telephonically regarding availability of Oxygen Concentrator. The security amount of Rs.5,000/- will be required to be remitted in favour of Indian Red Cross Society, U.T. Branch, Chandigarh. This will be refunded on the return of equipment.
