Chandigarh.11th June,2021:It is for the information to the general public/residents of Chandigarh that the registration for participating in re-auction of left over fancy/special registration numbers of previous series “CH01CE”, “CH01CD”, “CH01CC”, “CH01CB”, “CH01CA”, CH01BZ”, “CH01-BY, “CH01-BX, “CH01-BW”, “CH01-BU”, “CH01-BT” & “CH01-BS” (List enclosed) will be started from 14.06.2021 (10:00 AM) and will continue till 21.06.2021 (05:00 PM). The e-auction/bidding will be started from 22.06.2021 (10:00 AM) to 24.06.2021 (05:00 PM). The owner of the vehicle can register himself/herself on the National Transport website: https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/fancy and the link of the same is available on the Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website: ww.chadtransport.gov.in and obtain the Unique Acknowledgement Number (UAN). E-Tender of 55 vacant dwelling units on Free-hold basis

1. During the first week of June 2021, the Chandigarh Housing Boardhas finalized E-Tender. Total 97 bids were received for 27 dwelling units and the highest bidders were required to deposit 25% of the bid amount within 05 working days. However, 03 highest bidders could not deposit the 25% amount within the prescribed period and hence their EMD amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- each have been forfeited. Chandigarh.10th June,2021: The Deputy Commissioner, Sh.Mandip Singh Brar, IAS held a meeting in the presence of ADC Sh. K.P.S. Mahi with all three SDMs regarding the new guidelines on Covid-19 in the City. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the SDMs to ensure that a strict vigil would be kept on adherence to COVID-19 protocol in their respective zones. The incident commanders should ensure that face mask wearing and physical distancing is maintained. Chandigarh.9th June,2021: Chandigarh Housing Board hasintroducedthe facility of online payment of all kind of dues and now the allottees are not required to visit office of the Chandigarh Housing Board and they can pay their dues online by visiting website of the CHB www.chbonline.in. 2. Shri ManojParida, Adviser to Administrator and Chairman CHB has decided that to further encourage the online payments, the CHB to continue with monthly reward of Rs. 1000/- each to 10 online payment transactions during the whole year of 2021. 3. The Online Payment process has been further simplified and now the online payment can be made without making any registration or going through the process of User id and Password. Distributing free food grains @ 10Kg Wheat per person for two months (May & June, 2021

Chandigarh.9th June,2021: The Department is distributing free food grains @ 10Kg Wheat per person for two months (May & June, 2021) in one go under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojna (PMGKAY) to 2,66,365 registered beneficiaries under NFSA, 2013. The work of distribution was started from 20.05.2021 by setting up temporary distribution centres in Community Centres or Government Schools in various locations of Chandigarh. In addition to it, the food subsidy amount for the month of May & June, 2021 has already been released to registered beneficiaries. Appointment letters and posting orders were issued to all the candidates today. In a formal function, Sh. Manoj Parida, Adviser issued posting orders to 05 candidates. Sh.
