Administrator Launches Administrator’s Dashboard Chandigarh

Chandigarh, 21st July 2020: Hon’ble Governor-cum-Administrator UT Chandigarh launched Administrator’s Dashboard Chandigarh on 21.07.2020 at Punjab Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh in the presence of Advisor to Administrator Chandigarh, Finance Secretary Chandigarh, Special Secretary Finance Chandigarh and other officers of Finance Department besides the Officers of National Informatics Center (NIC).  The dashboard has been developed by the NIC with the inputs shared by the Finance Department, Chandigarh. The launching of Administrator’s Dashboard Chandigarh will facilitate and give an access to all the Government Departments of Chandigarh Administration to update the data of 81 Schemes/Services which are being implemented by them.  Once the data of schemes/services is uploaded/updated by the departments as per the frequency of the schemes/services, the same will be verified by the Finance Department and on its verification, the data automatically will be reflected on the Admin...

Adviser releases “Masterpieces” publication by Government Museum and Art Gallery

Chandigarh.21 July,2020: The Government Museum and Art Gallery has brought out a publication “Masterpieces” which features 60 iconic artworks of the museum from its rich collection. The book was released by Sh.Manoj Parida, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator in the presence of Harish Nayar, IAS, Special Secretary, Finance and Radhika Singh, HCS, Director Museum,today. The Adviser commended the efforts of the museum and suggested that the book should be made available at multiple tourist spots of the city to increase awareness about museum's rich collection. The publication has coloured illustrations and each artwork is accompanied by a textual description highlighting the aesthetic and historical significance of the masterpiece. National Digital Health Mission for UT

Chandigarh.20 July,2020: Government of India has contoured its journey towards achieving Universal Health Coverage by launching The National Digital Health Mission (NDHM). NDHM envisages a holistic and comprehensive health eco-system that will enable creation of a strong public digital infrastructure and digitally empower individuals, doctors, and health facilities, facilitate electronic signatures, make paperless registrations and payments, and provide opportunities to deploy systems to streamline healthcare information. The National Health Authority (NHA) is implementing the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) under the guidance of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. In this regards Sh. Administrator Launched E Challan System

Chandigarh, 17th July 2020: Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT Chandigarh has digitally inaugurated the state-of-the-art e-Challan System today at Punjab Raj Bhawan, Sector 6, Chandigarh.   It is a comprehensive digital solution for enforcement of Traffic rules delivered through an Android based mobile application. E-Challan is a Pan-India project of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) developed by NIC that provides a number of user friendly features, covering all major functionalities of Traffic Enforcement System i.e. issuance of Traffic e-Challan, on spot cashless payment, real time excess of Vahan and Sarathi Database, access to previous records, integration with DigiLocker and M-parivahan apps using Hand Held device.   With e-Challan, motorists will be able to pay fine at-the-spot using cashless means and from their homes using online payment gateway.   This project has been implemented in Chandigarh with zero cost to the Department i...
