Chandigarh, 4 th August, 2017: -  It is for the information of the general public that the office of Registering & Licensing Authority, Sector-17, Chandigarh will remain close for two hours on i.e. 07.08.2017 on account of Raksha Bandhan and the office will open at 11:00 a.m.                                                                         

Chandigarh, 4 th August, 2017: -  The UT Administration has decided to provide free travel facility to women in all local AC and Non-AC CTU buses on “Raksha Bandhan” , which falls on August 07 this year. The facility, however, will not be available on long route CTU buses.   Chandigarh Transport provided this facility in 2015 first time and is extending the same this year also third time in a row.   Through this gesture, UT Administration extends its support and exhibits its commitment to provide service delivery and to facilitate the Chandigarh citizens, on the eve of ‘Raksha Bandhan’.

Chandigarh, 2 nd August, 2017: In pursuance of the provisions contained in Rule 33(d) of the Chandigarh Panchayat Election Rules, 1994, it has been declared that Sh. Dalbir Singh, S/o Sh. Sarup Singh, resident of House No. 73, Village Raipur Khurd, U.T., Chandigarh, has been elected unopposed to fill up one causal vacancy of Panch in the above mentioned Gram Panchayat.
