Mini COVID Care Centres

Chandigarh.22nd May,2021:The Chandigarh Administration has given a clarion call for setting up Mini COVID Centers in the City voluntarily by the interested organization/associations. Total 07 Mini COVID Centers have been set-up in different parts of the city and all of them have become functional. Each of the COVID Centre is having 80% or more of the capacity as Oxygenated Beds. The detail of its capacity and the present occupancy is as under: *TABLE* The Mini COVID Care Centre at Sector-8B and at Sector-43 were inaugurated by Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore, Hon'ble Governor Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh on 20.05.2021. The last Center at Sector-34 was inaugurated on 21.05.2021 by Shri Manoj Parida, IAS Adviser to the Administrator. The present occupancy of the Mini COVID Care Centers is more than 50%. All the facilities like medicine, nutritious food, recreation and yoga etc are being provided by the trained Doctors and support staff, free of charges.

E-Permit:Oxygen Cylinder for Home

Chandigarh.19th May,2021: The Chandigarh Administration, with the assistance of National Informatics Centre (NIC),has started issuance of online e-permit for Oxygen Cylinder to the patients who are having prescription from Doctor. The facility has been made available on the website of the Chandigarh Administration. http://chandigarh.gov.in/health_covid19.htm 2. Chandigarh.20th May,2021:Chandigarh Housing Board has invited e-bids to sale its 79 Built-Up Residential Units on Free-Hold basis through E-Tender. The salient features of the e-Tender process are as under: (a) Specific details like unit number, location and reserve price of each of the unit is available on the website of the CHB www.chbonline.in. WORKPLACE COVID VACCINATION CENTRE FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN GETS UNDERWAY IN SECTOR-15

Chandigarh, 20th May 2021:With the holistic mission of catering to the needs of the special children especially during the crisis period of COVID-19, the Chandigarh administration today facilitated a wokplace covid vaccination centre for special children at Samarth jio residential care for special children in sector 15. On the occasion, General Secretary of Samarth who organized the camp Ms. Pooja, conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the Chandigarh Administration for showering kindness on the special children. Chandigarh.19th May,2021: The first meeting of Project Governance Committee for 24X7 Water Supply Project (PAN City) funded by Agence Francaise De Development (AFD) and European Union was held under the Chairmanship of Sh. Manoj Parida, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh , today wherein the dignitaries from AFD and European Union were also present through online video conference. Special review of Mini Covid Care Centres by Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh

Chandigarh, 19th May 2021: Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh reviewed the Covid Management in the city in a meeting held with all senior officers. A special review of Mini Covid Care Centres was taken. Sh. Yashpal Garg, the designated officer for management of Mini-Covid Care Centres stated that approval has been given for setting up of 09 Mini Covid Care Centres in different parts of the city. The NGOs, Charitable Organizations etc., who set up these Centres are required to provide doctors, nurses, health staff, food, medicines etc. to the patients. They are also required to ensure that 80% of the beds should have facility for oxygen through cylinders and concentrators. The Administration has agreed to provide space for setting up of these Centres and also for disposal of medical waste through Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. Adviser Launches Mini Covid Care Centre in Sector 47 Community Centre

Chandigarh, 19th May 2021: The Project Q Mini Covid Centre was inaugurated today in Sector 47 Community Centre in the presence of Sh. Manoj Parida, Adviser to the Administrator, Chandigarh. This mini Covid centre was launched by Rotary Satellite Club of Chandigarh in association with Chandigarh Administration. This is the 20 bedded centre has been made to provide relief to the sufferings of Patients. Many philanthropists and Rotarians played a pivotal role in functioning of this. Sh. Manoj Parida, Adviser to the Administrator expressed his gratitude to Rotarians RK Saboo, Tanu Mehtani and MP Singh for contributing in the welfare of the society in such tough times.
