Chandigarh, 26th December 2018 : Sh.  Mandip Singh Brar, Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh welcomed the Swasth Bharat Yatra- a Pan India Eat Right Movement in Chandigarh at New Lake, Sector 42 Chandigarh today.  Dr G. Dewan, Director Health &Family Welfare, U.T. Chandigarh briefed about the Swasth Bharat Yatra to the participants and dignitaries present at the event.  The Deputy Commissioner appreciates the Swasth Bharat Yatra Pan India Movement and motivated the cyclists and general public to carry home the message of Eat less sugar, salt and oil for healthy life.  Pledge was also taken by all the participants for safe and healthy eating. All the cyclists who reached Chandigarh were presented certificates and momento by Sh Mandip Singh Brar, Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, 26th December 2018: Sh. Manoj Parida, IAS, 1986 Batch officer assumed charge of the Adviser to the Administrator, UT, Chandigarh at UT Secretariat today. The officer was presented with the guard of Honor at UT Guest House, and was welcomed by the officers of Chandigarh Administration.  The new Adviser to the Administrator also met the Hon'ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh.  Sh. Sanjay Baniwal, IPS, DGP, Sh. Ajoy Kumar Sinha, IAS, Finance Secretary, Sh. Mandip Singh Brar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. KK Yadav, IAS Commissioner Municipal Corporation, and other officers of Chandigarh Administration were also present at the welcoming ceremony.
