Newly Constituted Administrators Advisory Council Meets today

Chandigarh, 13th September 2019 : The Administrator's Advisory Council meeting was held today under the Chairmanship of Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore, Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh in the presence of Smt. Kirron Kher, Member of Parliament, Chandigarh, Sh. Pawan Bansal, Sh. Satya Pal Jain, Sh. Harmohan Dhawan, Former Members of Parliament, Sh. Manoj Parida, Adviser to the Administrator, Mayor Chandigarh, members of the council, and senior officials of Chandigarh Administration. The Administrator welcomed all the council members and shared the upcoming projects of the Chandigarh Administration and some areas that need attention as well as support of the Advisory Council. Adviser launches campaign for ‘Plastic Free Chandigarh’

Chandigarh, September 11:-  Sh. Manoj Kumar Parida, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, UT, Chandigarh today launched a campaign for ‘Plastic Free Chandigarh’ under the Swachhata hi Sewa programme, here at central plaza, sector 17, Chandigarh in presence of Sh. Rajesh Kumar, Mayor and Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, MCC, Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, area councilor, other senior officers of Chandigarh Administration and MCC, Councilors, representatives of RWAs, MWAs and other NGOs were also present during the event. While addressing the stakeholders, the Adviser stressed upon the need to abolish plastic from daily routine life. He said that we must think of technology to abolish plastic usage in the city. E-auction of vehicle registration numbers of new series “CH01-BY” along with e-auction of left over fancy/special registration numbers of previous series “CH01-BX”, “CH01-BW”, “CH01-BV”, “CH01-BU”, “CH01-BT” & “CH01-BS”

Chandigarh, 10th September 2019: It is for the information to the general public/residents of Chandigarh that the registration for participating in e-auction of vehicle registration numbers of new series “CH01-BY” along with e-auction of left over fancy/special registration numbers of previous series “CH01-BX”, “CH01-BW”, “CH01-BV”, “CH01-BU”, “CH01-BT” & “CH01-BS” will be started from 12.09.2019 (10:00 AM) and will continue till 18.09.2019 (05:00 PM). The e-auction/bidding will be started from 19.09.2019 (10:00 AM) to 21.09.2019 (05:00PM). The owner of the vehicle can register himself/herself on the National Transport website: https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/fancy and the link of the same is available on the Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website: www.chdtransport.gov.in and obtain the Unique Acknowledgement Number (UAN).
