Chandigarh, 7 th May, 2016 Chandigarh Administration in association with Indian Mountaineering Foundation is organising a mountaineering expedition and training for specially abled candidates. The first expedition will be flagged off by the Governor of Punjab and Haryana and Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh, H.E. Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki on 13th May 2016 , and the course will start from the 14th May at Manali , Himachal Pradesh. Selections for the candidates were held today at MCMDAV College wherein 76 candidates participated in the selection process. Various tests under different categories like walking, climbing and motivation were conducted to test the calibre of the participants. Specially Abled youth of Chandigarh showcased some outstanding efforts in the selection.
