Chief Electoral Officer holds meeting regarding the Special Summary Revision (intensive) of the Photo Electoral Rolls   2 August 2019. Chandigarh : A meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Sh. Ajoy Kumar Sinha, Chief Electoral Officer- cum- Finance Secretary, Chandigarh with the representatives of Political Parties regarding the Special Summary Revision (intensive) of the Photo Electoral Rolls. It was emphasized that the special summary revision will begin with the improvement in health of Electoral roll from 1st August 2019 to 31st August 2019 wherein removal of logical errors will be done. An Electors Verification Programme (EVP) will be run to encourage citizens to authenticate existing elector details by giving a copy of any of the mentioned documents like Indian Passport, Dirivng License, Aadhar, Ration Card or any other document approved by the Commission.
