Celebration of International Women’s Day

Chandigarh, 8th March 2018:  Department of Higher Education, UT, Chandigarh in collaboration with Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36-B, Chandigarh celebrated International women’s Day by organizing a seminar on Women Empowerment today.  The Chief Guest of the occasion was Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Hon’ble Governor, Haryana. Principal Dr (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon gave a floral welcome to the chief guest and other dignitaries. The other guests who graced the occasion were Sh. They get published advertisements in leading newspapers and dupe the innocent people of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and after 2/3 months, they close their offices and run away from the city. Ajit Balaji Joshi, IAS, District Magistrate, Chandigarh that commercial establishment/shopkeepers engaged in the business of Restaurants/Dhabas, Discos, Clubs and Vendors sitting by the road sides and on the public places operating till late in the night are causing annoyance and are disturbing the public peace and tranquility leading to a harmful influence on public order.
