Chandigarh, 16th March, 2016: In
order to streamline and ensure transparency in the processing of applications
for transfer of properties and other related references and also to enhance the
confidence of the general public in the delivery of services by CHB, it has
been decided to follow the principle of FIFO i.e. First in and first out in all
non-Tatkal cases. The applications for
transfer of properties and all other references shall be processed strictly on
this principle and no reference/recommendation shall be considered by the dealing
assistant for out of turn processing.
Accordingly, pending list of applications and other references, dealing
assistant-wise i.e. in the Recovery Branch, Accounts Branch and other branches
of the CHB on the basis of seniority list (as per date of submission of
application/reference) shall be uploaded on the website of CHB www.chbonline.in and shall also be
displayed on the notice board in Block ‘C’ of Administration Block of the
office of Chandigarh Housing Board. Further to promote participation of General
Public/allottees, a weekly performance report of each dealing assistant
indicating the number of cases processed by him/her and approved by the
competent authority shall be displayed in the public domain. This initiative is
being taken to promote transparency and also to enhance confidence of the
general public in the delivery of services by CHB. If any applicant wants that his transfer
application be dealt on out of turn basis due to medical emergency or
unforeseen circumstances, then he or she may apply under the Tatkal Scheme of
the Chandigarh Housing Board.
