Measles Rubella Campaign – Day 10 in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, August 17, 2017:  On the Day 10 of Measles Rubella Immunization Campaign in U.T. Chandigarh, 58 schools were covered by the teams of Health Department to immunize the children with MR Vaccine. Total number of 13,385 children got immunized today. A total number of 1,19,388 children have been immunized in 10 days of MR Campaign in Chandigarh which includes both private and government schools like Chitkara International School, Sector 25, Chandigarh, Shishu Niketan, Sector 43, Angel Playway School, Dariya, Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Sector 29, Govt Model Sr. Sec. School, Sector -32, Govt Model Sr. Sec. School, Sector 37- D etc.

Chandigarh, 9 th  August, 2017: The Chandigarh Administration has earmarked the Rally Ground, Sector 25, Chandigarh for taking out processions, rallies, dharnas, etc. and no permission has been granted by the Chandigarh Administration to organize processions, rallies, dharnas, etc. elsewhere in the city other than the designated location, i.e., Rally Ground, Sector 25, Chandigarh and the same has been done to avoid traffic congestion, keeping in view of the convenience of the general public.  Chandigarh, 9 th  August, 2017: In pursuance of Gazette notification No. F. No. X. 11029/6/2010-DDAP dated 17-07-2012 issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi and order of Secretary, Health, Chandigarh issued vide Endst. No. 1/68/FII(6)/2013/1127, dated 09-02-2015, Sh. Ajit Balaji Joshi, IAS, District Magistrate, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers vested with him under Section 144 Cr. P.C. has hereby ordered that sale and production of Bottled Correcting Fluids, as well as bottled thinners of any chemical composition, both for ink erasing purposes as well as for nail polish removers and similar other purposes for retail sale, is hereby prohibited within the jurisdiction of Union Territory of Chandigarh, in the public interest for a period of 60 days. Measles Rubella Campaign

Chandigarh, 9 th  August, 2017 : On Day 4 of Measles Rubella Immunization Campaign in UT Chandigarh, 35 schools were covered by the teams of Health Department to immunize the children with MR Vaccine and 73 sessions were held. Total number of 8274 children got immunized today. A total number of 44221 children have been immunised in 4 days of MR Campaign in Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, 10 th  August 2017:  In pursuance of Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, New Delhi order, the Administrator is pleased to post Sh. T.C. Nautiyal, IFS (AGMUT:2003) as Conservator of Forests. Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) 2017

Chandigarh, 10 th  August, 2017:  In compliance of the directions of the Government of India to take steps for improvement of ranking in “Ease of Doing Business’ index, the Chandigarh Administration has notified Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) 2017.             The existing building byelaws/orders/notifications issued from time to time have been reviewed by a committee.
