Measles Rubella Campaign

Chandigarh, 9th August, 2017: On Day 4 of Measles Rubella Immunization Campaign in UT Chandigarh, 35 schools were covered by the teams of Health Department to immunize the children with MR Vaccine and 73 sessions were held. Total number of 8274 children got immunized today. A total number of 44221 children have been immunised in 4 days of MR Campaign in Chandigarh.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
