Technology Promotion Society (CREST), UT Chandigarh is organizing ‘Solar Power

houses and feel proud to be ‘Green Power Producer’. During the Solar
Power Camps, the Net Metering/ Gross Metering Regulations issued by Hon’ble
Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) for Union Territories & Goa
shall be explained to the public so as to attract them towards highly lucrative
tariff of Rs.8.51 per unit (kwhr) offered by Electricity Department UT
Chandigarh if Solar Power Plant is commissioned before 31st March, 2016.
The next year tariff will
be on lower side. Similarly procedure for availing 30% subsidy shall also
be explained to the public including presence of local empanelled Solar Power
Aggregators who have been empanelled by CREST for installation of Rooftop Solar
Power Plants. The Solar Power Aggregators shall be available for discussion
with public to clear their queries/ doubts and to facilitate in obtaining
