Felicitation of Cadet Rigzen Dolker

Chandigarh, 11 February, 2016: Adviser to the Administrator Sh. Vijay Dev, IAS, today felicitated Cadet Rigzen Dolker of NCC Girls Battalion, Chandigarh on getting selected for scaling Mount Everest expedition in April 2016. She would be representing the city along with 9 other cadets. Cadet Rigzen Dolker has completed her training at Siachen Glacier in the first week of February.

Commenting on the occasion Adviser to the Administrator Sh. Vijay Dev, IAS, appreciated the efforts of Brig. M.G. Sekaran, SM, Group Commander NCC HQ Chandigarh in ensuring that Cadet Rigzen Dolker gets selected for the expedition.

Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) 2017

Chandigarh 10 th August 2017: In compliance of the directions of the Government of India to take steps for improvement of ranking in “Ease of Doing Business’ index, the Chandigarh Administration has notified Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) 2017. The existing building byelaws/orders/notifications issued from time to time have been reviewed bya committee. Since amendments to the building Rules were never compiled before, therefore, comparative analysis of existing building byelaws applicable in Chandigarh was done viz-a-viz Haryana Building Code 2016, TCPO Model Building Byelaws 2016 and NBC 2017.
