Function By Ryan International School

Chandigarh, 5th February, 2016:- Sh. Vijay Kumar Dev, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, Chandigarh Administration was invited as the chief guest at a function held by the Go Green Cycling club and Ryan International school today at the school to promote cycling for a green and healthier city and country.

Ryan International School becomes the first co-educational school to join the Green schools of the club under the guidance of the school’s Chairman, Dr. A.F. Pinto. Sh. Vijay Kumar, IAS, led the cycle rally and addressed the children and asked them to develop a cycling culture in the city. He also emphasized that more and more children and parents should take to cycling as it not only ensures a clean environment but also promotes good health and fitness.

The Principal Mrs. Poonam Sharma thanked Sh. Vijay Kumar, IAS, for his motivational presence and reiterated that the institution has always shown deep concern for the environment. To promote safety for the cyclist, helmets were distributed by the school. The need and importance of fixing a rear view mirrors, bells, reflectors, and water bottle holders were enumerated.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
