Inspection Of The Multinational Branded Stores At Elante

Chandigarh, 18th February, 2016: As per the action plan prepared by Dr. Rajinder K. Sharma, Designated Officer I/c Food Safety Administration, Chandigarh Health Department, a joint team of Food Safety Officers Sh. Bharat Kanojia & Sh. Surinder Pal Singh on 18-02-2016 inspected all the multinational branded stores  in Elante Mall, Industrial Area, Phase-I, Chandigarh i.e. McDonald, KFC, Domino's, Pizza Hut and Burger king and five samples of different food articles like Burger, Chicken, Pizza, Pasta & Mutton burger were taken for analysis & examination.  The Food Business Operators were instructed to adhere to the norms of Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006 and Rules, 2011. They were also educated about the common adulterants found in such food articles.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
