Raid in Sector 29,30 and Manimajra

Chandigarh, 17th February, 2016: A team of Sanitary Inspectors under the aegis of Dr. Tapasya Raghav, IAS, Sub Divisional Magistrate (East), U.T, Chandigarh conducted raid in the respective area of Sector 29, Sector 30 and Manimajra, Chandigarh.  Wherein 6 challan of Rs. 500/- and 3 challan of  Rs. 5,000/-  were issued and 200 quintal polythene bags/plastic allied items were seized.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
