World Cancer day-4th Feb, 2016

Chandigarh, 2 February, 2016: National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, CVDs and Strokes (NPCDCS), NHM, U.T., Chandigarh proposes to organize an Exhibition cum Screening Camp at GMSH-16, Chandigarh, in collaboration with Radiotherapy unit, PGIMER on 4th Feb, 2016 from 9.00 A.M to 2.00 P.M.
This day will be used as opportunity for creating awareness about Cancer, its symptoms, timely detection and its management. Asha Jyoti Van with facility of Mammography and Colposcopy unit for Breast and Cervical Cancer will also be available. 
Various IEC materials in form of Posters, Banners, Pamphlets, and Leaflets will also be displayed and distributed to public at the Exhibition. Experts from PGIMER will be available for consultation regarding Cancer, significance of its early detection, treatment and further management.
People are requested to visit this Exhibition on Cancer Awareness and get enlightened by health talks about Cancer, associated risk factors, signs & symptoms, significance of its timely detection, referral and further management.

Chandigarh, 27 th November 2018: The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 399 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act,   1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), intends to amend the Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011 as amended from time to time and as in accordance with the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation (as extended to UT Chandigarh) Act, 1994, read with sub section (2) of section 7A of the capital of Punjab (Development &Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator UT Chandigarh after according approval to the same propose to issue the draft of notification which is hereby published for information of the persons likely to be affected thereby.
