2016:- Sh. Ajit Balaji Joshi, I.A.S, Deputy
Commissioner, U.T, Chandigarh, chaired a conference today in his office
to discuss the problems related to lands, roles and responsibilities of
Nambardaars. Tehsildars, Patwaris
and Nambardaars of Chandigarh region were present during the Conference.
During the conference, issues related to Land Acquisitions,
Periphery act were put forward. In addition to this, Sh. Ajit Balaji Joshi,
I.A.S, laid emphasis on working hand in hand for the smooth functioning. He
further agreed upon the demands of honorarium, to fill the vacant posts
of Nambardaars and the presence of Tehsildars during the registration of
the land.
Sh. Ajit Balaji Joshi, I.A.S asked Tehsildars and Patwaris to
ensure that they must submit the reports of Land Acquisition cases around the
concerned villages within a span of a month. All the members present during the
conference promised their constant cooperation.
