First Transfer Of Commercial Property

Chandigarh, 18 March, 2016: The Chandigarh Housing Board vide its 392nd Board Meeting held on 02.9.2015 has launched “Tatkal Service” for all transfer cases of residential property by charging an amount of Rs.50,000/-, Rs.40,000/-, Rs.30,000/- & Rs.20,000/- under HIG, MIG, LIG & EWS Categories respectively.
Further, the Chandigarh Housing Board vide its 394th Board Meeting held on 22.12.2015 decided to extend the ‘Tatkal’ Service facility to the allottees of commercial property by charging an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- for convenience shops/small booths and Rs.2,00,000/- for bay shops/Shop-cum-Flats.  In the four decade old history of CHB, the first commercial property i.e. Booth No.17, Sector 49-A, Chandigarh has been transferred under Tatkal Service today on 18.3.2016.
The general public of Chandigarh have given a very good response to the Tatkal Service launched by the Chandigarh Housing Board. The Chandigarh Housing Board has earned Rs.1, 28, 20,000/- for transfer of residential property and Rs.5, 00,000/- for transfer of commercial property under TATKAL service upto 18.3.2016.  The detailsare as under:-

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. “Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
