Inspection of three clinics with ultrasound facility

Chandigarh, 4th March, 2016: Ms. Kriti Garg, IAS, Sub Divisional Magistrate (South), Chandigarh with a team of Doctors, inspected the three clinics with ultrasound facility, one in Sector 21 and two centers in Sector 19, Chandigarh. The inspection was carried out under the PCPNDT Act. No major violation was found during the inspection, although a few minor issues such as display of certificates etc on the spot were pointed out. The concern doctors have assured to compliance in 24 hours. It is also informed that the inspection drive will continue in the upcoming days.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
