Meeting with staff and representatives of CITCO Progressive Workers Union

Chandigarh, 18 March, 2016: The staff of CITCO today met at Hotel Shivalikview, Sector 17, and expressed their feelings about the recent incidents that occurred at Hotel Mountview with regard to wrong billing, disclosing information to the outsiders and consuming unauthorized food in the guest area by some of the staff members. The staff and the representatives of CITCO Progressive Workers Union expressed their views and said that the incidents were unfortunate tarnishing the image of the organization.  The staff of CITCO took a pledge to work diligently and like one family for the betterment of the organization. 
Sh. Prem Lal, President, CITCO Progressive Workers Union appreciated the steps taken by the CITCO management in taking new step towards generating good business in the organization. He assured that all the staff members would make efforts in the right direction to take the Corporation to scale to its all time heights.
Smt. Navjot Kaur, PCS, Managing Director-cum-Chief General Manager, CITCO took this opportunity to take a firm commitment from all the staff members that such incidents shall not be repeated by anyone and if in future  anyone is found indulging in any such activities detrimental to the organization's interest, he shall not be spared by the management.

The staff members of CITCO took the pledge for the betterment and prosperity of the organization. The member made personal commitment to Work hard, Cooperate respectfully with the colleagues and the authority, care and respect the members and property of CITCO, Being upright in the working not involving in any immoral activity and refrain themselves from any form of cheating.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. 'X’ houses will be covered in the coming days too to track the unimmunized children and give them polio drops. “Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
