200 Two Bed Room Flats Scheme of Chandigarh Housing Board Launched

Chandigarh, 1st April, 2016: The Housing Scheme for 200 Two Bed Room Flats under Self Financing Housing Scheme 2016 was launched today.
However, since 1st April, 2016 was a bank holiday and all banks were closed under the Negotiable Instruments Act, no brochures were sold and no application forms under the scheme were deposited today.
Bankers to the 200 Two Bed Room Self Financing Housing scheme 2016
                    Under the 200 Two Bed Room Flats Self Financing Housing Scheme 2016 in Sector 51-A, Chandigarh, the Principal Banker is HDFC Bank.
                    However, the following banks have been approved as nodal banks for sale of brochures and deposit of applications forms under the scheme:-
1.    Allahabad Bank, Sector 17-B, Chandigarh.
2.    State Bank of India, Sector 9, Chandigarh.
3.    Punjab National Bank Sector 8, Chandigarh.
4.    Punjab & Sind Bank Sector 11, Chandigarh.
5.    Axis Bank, Sector 9, Chandigarh.
6.    IndusInd Bank Ltd., Sector 8, Chandigarh.
                    All branches of the above banks in the Tri-city of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula shall be selling and accepting application forms under the scheme.
                    The above bank branches will also be financing applicants to the scheme, as per their eligibility norms/guidelines.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
