Celebration of Rashtriya Samrastra Divas

Chandigarh, 21st April, 2016: As a part of the celebration of Rashtriya Samrastra Divas, the Chandigarh Administration has been conducting various activities, programmes, events, camps and competitions in the villages. Continuing with the campaign, various events were held yesterday which included an Inter village Sports meet was held in Gram in Khuda Alisher by the Rural Dev. & Panchayats Department, a Medical camp (eye –dental –blood test 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM) was organized at village Behlana by the Bharat Vikas Parishad. An LED van displaying Photographs & Literature about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s ideology and achievements covered all the villages of U.T., Chandigarh and a movie on the life of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was also screened for the people of villages by the Department of Public Relations, Chandigarh Administration.

Chandigarh, 27 th November 2018: The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 399 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act,   1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), intends to amend the Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011 as amended from time to time and as in accordance with the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation (as extended to UT Chandigarh) Act, 1994, read with sub section (2) of section 7A of the capital of Punjab (Development &Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator UT Chandigarh after according approval to the same propose to issue the draft of notification which is hereby published for information of the persons likely to be affected thereby. Administrator Launches Website of Sports Department Chandigarh
