Chandigarh Housing Board Gets HUDCO Award


Chandigarh, 25th April, 2016: Chandigarh Housing Board has been awarded with HUDCO award for best practices to improve the living environment 2015-2016 under the category of ‘Housing, Urban Poverty and Infrastructure’.  The award has been received by Sh. Maninder Singh, IAS Chairman CHB on 25.4.2016 during the function held at India Habitat Center, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The award comprises of Momento and a cheque amounting to Rs.1.00 lacks.  The award was given by Dr. M. Ravikanth, IAS, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, HUDCO.  The function was presided over by Sh. Venkaiah Naidu, Minister of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, Govt of India.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
