Encroachment Drive in East Jurisdiction

Chandigarh, 28th April, 2016: Under the aegis of Sh. Bhupesh Chaudhary, IAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (East), an anti-encroachment drive was conducted on 27.04.2016 by the Enforcement team, in the market of sec-29 and sec 30, Chandigarh. During the anti encroachment drive 40 challans were issued against the defaulter shopkeepers.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
