Chandigarh, April 12^th, 2016: The Government Multi Speciality Hospital Sector-16, Chandigarh has a Jan Aushadhi shop situated at the prime location for the convenience of the patients. Jan Aushadhi shop has been set up to provide generic drugs, which are available at lesser prices but are equivalent in quality and efficacy as expensive branded drugs.

More than 1500 people are purchasing medicine from this Jan Aushadi shop every month. The shop is managed by Indian Red Cross Society, Chandigarh and is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Chandigarh 10 th August 2017: In compliance of the directions of the Government of India to take steps for improvement of ranking in “Ease of Doing Business’ index, the Chandigarh Administration has notified Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) 2017. The existing building byelaws/orders/notifications issued from time to time have been reviewed bya committee.
