Self Financing Housing Scheme 2016

Chandigarh, 26th April, 2016: Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) is bringing to the notice of the applicants who have applied under the Self Financing Housing Scheme 2016 Sector 51-A, Chandigarh of the Chandigarh Housing Board that the Board shall follow the following steps towards the allotment of dwelling units under Sub-Scheme ‘B’ viz Assured Allotment Scheme:

1.                 The list of applicants will be displayed on the notice board of Reception as well as on the web-site of Chandigarh Housing Board on 31st May 2016 for inviting objections from the applicants/bidders.

2.                 In case the number of applications is less under this sub scheme, then the balance dwelling units will be transferred in the sub-scheme ‘A’ and the number of dwelling unit’s category wise in the later scheme will be determined accordingly.

3.                  The sealed Bids will be opened by the PAC (Property Allotment Committee) on 10th June 2016 at 3.00 p.m in the presence of bidders in the CHB Premises and allotments including choice of dwelling units made accordingly on the same date. The allotment of the specific flat number on the first floor shall be on the basis of the choice of the bidder starting from the highest to lowest.


The draw of lots for Sub Scheme ‘A’ will be conducted on 30.07.2016 at 11.00 A.M. in the CHB premises.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
