Chandigarh, April 27, 2016: State Bank of Patiala in collaboration
with CITCO launched 40 new pedal boats for leisure boating at Sukhna Lake
today. The new boats were handed over in a ceremony for overall promotion of
boating tourism in Chandigarh. Sh. Anurag Aggarwal, IAS, Home secretary, UT,
Chandigarh was the Chief Guest. Also present were Sh. S. A. Ramesh Rangan,
Managing Director, State Bank of Patiala, Smt. Kavita Singh, IAS, Managing
Director, CITCO, Chandigarh and Smt. Papia Sengupta, Chief General Manager,
SBP, Smt. Navjot Kaur, CGM CITCO. Senior officials of the Bank, Sh. Devendra
Kumar, General Manager, Retail Network, Sh. Rajat Banerjee, Deputy General
Manager, Chandigarh zone and other officials .
A blood donation camp was organized in coordination with
Government Multi-specialty Hospital Sector-16, Chandigarh in which around 61
donors from SBP staff and general public donated blood. A free health check up
was also organized on this occasion in collaboration with Max Hospital, Mohali.
“As a Corporate Social responsibility for State bank of Patiala
as well as CITCO, the blood donation camp and free medical checkup has been
organized at the most popular spot of Chandigarh,” said Smt. Kavita Singh, Managing
Director, CITCO She further stated that the colorful leisure boats are a
present to people visiting Sukhna Lake.
