Administrator’s Advisory Council Reconstituted

Chandigarh, 7th May, 2016: The Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh is pleased to reconstitute the Administrator’s Advisory Council to advise the Chandigarh Administration on developmental issues and policy matters affecting the U.T., Chandigarh. The term of this Council shall be for a period of two years.

The Council comprises of

Administrator, U.T, Chandigarh as the Chairman and the members include Smt. Kirron Kher, Member of Parliament, Sh. Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General of India, Sh. Arun Sood, Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Joint Secretary, U.T., Ministry of Home Affairs, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development, Chief Architect, U.T., Chandigarh, Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Smt. Kamla Sharma, Ex. Mayor, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta, Ex Mayor, Smt. Rajbala Malik, Ex Mayor, Sh. Ravinder Pal Singh, Ex Mayor, among others.

Draft Bye Laws- Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011

Chandigarh, 27 th November 2018: The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 399 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act,   1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), intends to amend the Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011 as amended from time to time and as in accordance with the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation (as extended to UT Chandigarh) Act, 1994, read with sub section (2) of section 7A of the capital of Punjab (Development &Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator UT Chandigarh after according approval to the same propose to issue the draft of notification which is hereby published for information of the persons likely to be affected thereby.
