Health Camp to be held at Civil Dispensary Maulijagran on 21st May, 2016

Chandigarh, 19th May, 2016: Chandigarh Health Department in Collaboration with Max Super speciality Hospital and UCO Bank is going to organize free Health Camp at Civil Dispensary, Mauli Jagran on 21st May 2016(Saturday) from 8.00 AM onwards. People will be examined by Doctors from various specialities like Medicine, Gynae. Surgery, Skin, Eye and Dental and will be given free medicine accordingly. Main objective of the screening camp is to provide specialised care at the doorstep of people and to generate awareness and health promotion regarding various diseases including Oral, Breast and Cervical Cancers. Women between (30-59 yrs) will be screened for Breast and Cervical Cancer. General public will also be sensitised about adoption of healthy lifestyle including healthy food and importance of physical activity. Mobile food testing van will also be available at the venue for testing food samples. Various laboratory tests including Blood Sugar and lipid profile will also be conducted at the venue. Community people are requested to visit this camp to avail all specialized services.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
