‘Online Slogan Writing Contest’ for International Day of Yoga 2016

Chandigarh, 27th May, 2016: Ignite the spark of creativity in you and participate in the ‘Online Slogan Writing Contest’ contest initiated under the aegis of Chandigarh Administration on the facebook page of “International Day of Yoga 2016”. Think, create and share slogan for the “International Day of Yoga 2016”, which will be organized in Chandigarh at the Capitol Complex on 21st June, 2016.

The most creative submission would entitle you to enter a privileged enclosure near the main stage where the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi would perform the yoga asanas as per the protocol. Besides this, there are three cash prizes to be won worth Rs 10, 000.


Citizens can submit entries online on Facebook or mail one-line catchy slogan in Hindi or English language (please mention your address and mobile no) at Sloganentriesiydchd@gmail.com before June 5th, 2016.

We understand that creativity is ageless and that is why there is no Age bar to this contest too!

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
