The Sector 51-A Two Hundred (200) Two Bed Room Flats Self Financing Housing
Scheme 2016 has been fully subscribed, as of 5 PM on 23.05.2015. 225
Application Forms have been received and more application forms are expected to
be received, online and in physical format, within today.
Although details are
being compiled, at-least 25 application forms have been submitted under the
Assured Allotment Scheme (Scheme ‘B’) whereby applicants were free to bid an
amount higher than Rs.69 lacs (in multiples of Rs.50,000/-) for assured
allotment. If, by the end of the day,
the 50 flats under Plan B of the Assured Allotment Scheme are not fully
subscribed, the remaining nos. of flats will be transferred to the General Pool
of Scheme ‘A’.
Similarly, in any of
the reserved categories, if enough applications have not been received, the
remaining nos. of flats will be transferred to the General Pool Category of
Scheme ‘A’.
5% of the total number
of flats under Scheme ‘A’ have been reserved for oustees under “The
Implementation of National Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme, 2010”
notified by the Chandigarh Administration.
The Chandigarh Housing
Board would like to hereby express its thanks to the applicants for reposing
faith in the scheme and for ensuring full subscription to the scheme. Chandigarh Housing Board would also like to thank
the Principal Banker to the scheme, namely HDFC Bank Ltd., as well as the other
banks associated with the scheme, namely, State Bank of India, Punjab National
Bank, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, Allahabad Bank and Punjab & Sind Bank.
