Union Territory of Chandigarh Victim Assistance Scheme

Chandigarh, 6th May, 2016: In exercise of the powers conferred by Section  357 A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), the Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh is pleased to amend the Union Territory of Chandigarh,Victim Assistance Scheme, 2012, namely:-

1.   This scheme may be called the Union Territory of Chandigarh Victim Assistance (Amendment) Scheme, 2016.

2.     In clause 3 of the Union Territory of Chandigarh Victim Assistance Scheme,  2012 (hereinafter referred to as said Scheme), Sub-Section (4) the fund shall be operated by the Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority, Chandigarh in place of the Collector/Deputy Commissioner of the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, 27 th November 2018: The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 399 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act,   1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), intends to amend the Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011 as amended from time to time and as in accordance with the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation (as extended to UT Chandigarh) Act, 1994, read with sub section (2) of section 7A of the capital of Punjab (Development &Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator UT Chandigarh after according approval to the same propose to issue the draft of notification which is hereby published for information of the persons likely to be affected thereby.
