Charges Assigned

Chandigarh, 27th June, 2016: The Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to allow Sh. K. Narshimha, IAS, Secretary Agriculture, Chandigarh Administration to attend the 11th  Round of Phase IV of Mid Career Training Programme (MCTP) scheduled from 27th June to 22nd July, 2016 being organized by the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.

Consequent upon the above proceeding the following chares being held by Sh. K. Narshimha will be looked after by Sh. Maninder Singh, IAS, Chairman, Chandigarh Housing Board, Chandigarh, in addition to his own duties, till the officer joins back:-

1-    Secretary Statistics
2-    Secretary Printing & Stationery
3-    Secretary Rural Development & Panchayats
4-    Secretary Agriculture

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
