Health Camp to be held at Civil Dispensary Dhanas

Chandigarh, 3rd June, 2016: Chandigarh Health Department in Collaboration with Gynae. deptt. PGIMER, Max hospital and UCO Bank is going to organize free Health Camp at Civil Dispensary, Dhanas on 4th June 206(Saturday) from 8.00 AM onwards. Seeing success of previous two Health Camps held at Daddu Majra and Maulijagran, this time also Doctors from various specialities like Medicine, Gynae., Skin and ENT will be examining patients and will be provided with free medicines. Health promotion and awareness generation regarding prevention, timely detection and management of Non Communicable diseases will be the main highlight of the screening camp.


People will be screened for leprosy, Oral, Breast and Cervical Cancers. Women above 30 yrs. will be screened for Breast and Cervical Cancer by Gynaecologists from PGIMER and Max. Hospital . General public will also be sensitised about adoption of healthy lifestyle including healthy food and importance of physical activity. Mobile food testing van will also be available at the venue for testing food samples. Various laboratory tests including Blood Sugar and lipid profile will also be conducted at the venue. People are requested to visit this camp to avail all specialized services.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants.
