Unique 3D Performance on the Third Day of Chandigarh Yoga Festival



Chandigarh, 11th June, 2016: The 3rd day of Chandigarh Yoga Festival held at Sukhna Lake tonight saw a spectacular 3D musical presentation by Skyads along with moonlight yoga performed by people gathered in huge numbers. The event was graced by the presence of Hon'ble Governor of Haryana and Punjab & Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Haryana, Vaidhyaraj Acharya Balkrishnaji Maharaj, Sh. Parimal Rai, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, Sh. Anurag Aggarwal, IAS, Home Secretary, Sh. Ajit Balaji Joshi, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Ms. Kriti Garg, IAS, SDM South along with other senior officers of Chandigarh administration witnessed the show. 

The 3D musical presentation was first of its initiative in the city beautiful. Such performances have been organized in Delhi and Mumbai, but it was one-of-its-kind for the residents of tricity, who thoroughly enjoyed the 3D mapping show, Yoga-The Tree of Life.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
