Bharat Prakarsh Foundation donates water purifiers to 47 ICCW crèches

Chandigarh, 29th July, 2016: 47 crèches run by the Indian Council of Child Welfare (ICCW) along with the Department of Social Welfare, Women & Child Development, Chandigarh Administration caters to the needs of day care of children from families with working parents. These centres take good care of the children; however they lacked access to safe and clean drinking water.


          Initiative taken by Smt. Bhawna Garg IAS, Secretary Social Welfare, Women & Child Development, Chandigarh Administration, "Project Neer" was launched by BPF in collaboration with Lets endorse, an online portal in July 2016 for providing safe potable water to the crèches. The Project has been successfully fulfilled with the support of Corporate Patrons of Bharat Prakarsh Foundation namely Nectar Lifesciences Ltd. and Winsome Foundation and Tata Swachh Smart Water Purifiers are being given to each of the 47 crèches.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
