Chandigarh, 20th July, 2016: Sh.
Rakesh Mehta, State Election Commissioner, Union Territory, Chandigarh in
consultation with the Chandigarh Administration, has appointed the following officers
shown in the table below, as the Assistant Electoral Registration officers in
connection with forthcoming bye-election to fill up two casual vacancies of
Panches i.e. one each in Gram Panchayat of Village Daria and Behlana, in the
Union Territory of Chandigarh. The
officers so appointed as Assistant Electoral Registration Officers are also
appointed as Assistant Returning Officers under the provisions of Rule 6(2) of
the Chandigarh Panchayat Election Rules, 1994, mentioned in the table below, in
connection with aforesaid bye election:-
