Draw of Two Bed Room Flats under Self Financing Housing Scheme 2016 held Today

Chandigarh, 25th July, 2016 The draw of lots for 200 Two Bed Room Flats under Self Financing Housing Scheme 2016 on lease hold basis in Sector-51-A, Chandigarh (Sub Scheme ‘A’) was conducted successfully on 25.07.2016 in the Chandigarh Housing Board premises in the presence of the Property Allotment Committee (PAC) and the applicants.

Waiting list of 27 applicants has also been prepared during the draw and the same will remain operative for a period of one year.

A list of successful applicants has been displayed on the notice board of CHB and uploaded on the CHB website.

The Acceptance cum Demand Letter of the dwelling units as per provisions of the scheme has also been issued on 25.07.2016. All successful applicants of Sub Scheme ‘A’ and Sub Scheme ‘B’ are required to make 100% of the payment by 22.10.2016.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. “Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
