Holiday on account of Eid Ul Fitr

7th July 2016 will be observed as Public Holiday in all Government Offices/ Boards/ Corporations/ Institutions including Industrial Establishments under the Chandigarh Administration and also within the meaning of section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 on account of Eid Ul Fitr. Restricted Holiday already declared on 6th July 2016, on account of Eid Ul Fitr is hereby cancelled.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
