Chandigarh, 6th July,
2016: The Chandigarh Housing Board has taken the following decisions:-
1.

Permission for internal changes within the covered area of
Chandigarh Housing Board Dwelling Units.
|
The Board has approved that procedure for extending any need based benefits be
kept simple and there is no requirement for approval of the Board in extending
any need based benefits in future, in order to cut red tape. It has also been
decided that allottees will submit a certificate of structural stability from a
structural engineer registered with the Chandigarh Administration for the
purpose of updating of records of Chandigarh Housing Board.

GPA Transfer policy in respect of 12 Nos. Dwelling Units
allotted to Kashmiri Migrants under the Rehabilitation Scheme in Indira
Colony on Hire purchase & lease hold basis.

The Board has accorded the approval to formulate a special policy by Chandigarh
Housing Board in respect of 12 Nos. Dwelling Units allotted to Kashmiri
Migrants under the Rehabilitation Scheme in Indira Colony on Hire purchase
& lease hold basis. In addition to normal transfer fee being charged by the
Chandigarh Housing Board in General Housing Schemes, the Board has levied an
additional penalty of 5% of collector’s rate on transfer of these dwelling
units.

Organizing ‘Yoga Workshop’ in the office premises of CHB.
|
The Chandigarh Administration has decided to recognize “Yoga” as a sports
discipline and place it in the priority category. Chandigarh Housing
Board has decided to organize ‘Yoga Workshops’ in the Chandigarh Housing Board
as well as in all its housing colonies for maintaining good health and leading
stress-free lives. It was also decided to have a yoga-cum-meditation room in
the Chandigarh Housing Board.

Linkage of Adhaar Numbers with Dwelling Units.
|
All the 64,000 Dwelling Units allotted by Chandigarh Housing Board should be
linked with Adhaar Numbers. This process was started by the Chandigarh Housing
Board last year. The Chandigarh Housing Board and the Estate Office, Chandigarh
are to establish a linkage amongst both offices while transferring the
properties. The Estate Office, U.T., Chandigarh has started online registration
for transfer of property and the same software is being introduced in the
Chandigarh Housing Board.
5.

Development of Senior Citizen’s Homes.
|
It has been decided to reserve a chunk of two to five acres for the
purpose of development of Senior Citizen’s Homes. The Estate
Officer, U.T., Chandigarh shall make the design/layout and details of
Senior Citizen’s Homes available to Chandigarh Housing Board.
6.
|
200 Two BR Flats under Self Financing Housing Scheme 2016 on
lease hold basis in Sector-51, Chandigarh, Sub Scheme-B.
|
The Board has accorded approval as under:-
(i) To
ratify the decision of the Committee to round off the bids (which were not in
multiples of Rs 50,000/-) to next higher multiple of Rs 50,000/-.
(ii) The
date of payment i.e., within 90 days from the date of issuance of ACDL (both
days inclusive) under Sub scheme ‘B’ shall also be commenced from the date of
issuance of ACDL to the successful applicants of Sub Scheme ‘A’.
(iii) To
prepare a waiting list of the balance bidders (sr. No. 51 to 67 of bidder’s
list in descending order) as mentioned in the Agenda and allot the surrendered
units, if any to the persons on the waiting list of Sub Scheme ‘B’. The waiting
list shall remain operative upto 20Th July 2016.
