Self Financing Housing Scheme 2016

 Chandigarh, 24th July, 2016: The applicants who have applied for 200 Two Bed Room Flats under Self Financing Housing Scheme 2016 on lease hold basis in Sector-51-A, Chandigarh (Sub Scheme ‘A’) of the Chandigarh Housing Board are hereby informed that the draw of lots will be held on 25.07.2016 at
11.00 A.M. onwards in the presence of the Property Allotment Committee (PAC) as well as in the presence of the applicants in the Chandigarh Housing Board premises and the allotment of dwelling units as per provisions of the scheme will be made on the same date.
It is further informed that out of the 45 dwelling units under the Reserved Categories, 22 applicants are found eligible and they are approved as successful allottees.  Their numbering draw alongwith 7 Nos. dwelling units of Discretionary Quota and 07 nos. dwelling units of Oustees Quota will be held on 25.07.2016. The balance 23 Dwelling Units under Reserved Categories have been transferred to the General Category, after affording of one more opportunity to them. The draw of lots for general category of applicants numbering 179 against 114 Dwelling Units (including 23 transferred from the reserved categories) will also be held on 25.07.2016.
List of eligible applicants, category wise have been uploaded on the web site and displayed on the Notice Board of Chandigarh Housing Board. 

All the applicants are, therefore, informed to be present on the above said date, time & venue.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
