E-Auction of registration numbers

Chandigarh, 22nd September, 2016: The Registering and Licensing Authority, U.T., Chandigarh conducted E-Auction for special/choice registration numbers as well as ordinary registration numbers for the series “CH-01-BJ” from vehicle registration numbers 0001 to 9999. The total amount for 242 registration numbers including special/choice number and ordinary numbers fetched Rs. 54,01,000/-      The number CH-01-BJ-0001 fetched the highest amount i.e. Rs. 4,93,000/-, CH-01-BJ-0009 fetched Rs.3,52,000/- and CH-01-BJ-0007 reached for Rs. 2,68,000/-.

Chandigarh, 27 th November 2018: The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 399 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act,   1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), intends to amend the Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011 as amended from time to time and as in accordance with the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation (as extended to UT Chandigarh) Act, 1994, read with sub section (2) of section 7A of the capital of Punjab (Development &Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator UT Chandigarh after according approval to the same propose to issue the draft of notification which is hereby published for information of the persons likely to be affected thereby.
