Chandigarh, 20th September, 2016: In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)
of Section 6 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the
Union Territory, Chandigarh, by the Punjab Municipal Corporation Law (Extension
to Chandigarh) Act, 1994 (Act, No. 45 of 1994), and supersession of earlier
notification No.6/1/45-FII(8)-2016/5899 dated 25/9/2006, the Administrator,
Union Territory, Chandigarh, is pleased to determine the number of seats of
Councillors reserved for women belonging to the Scheduled Castes, based on
Census-2011, to be filled by direct election as “Two”
7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
